WARNING! Research nets are sold only to professionally qualified individuals with a permit from the Ministry of the Environment for capturing birds or bats, licensed ringers, research institutions, educational institutions and universities, zoos, and eco-parks.

This is an ultra-thin mist net (0.08 mm monofilament). The nearly invisible net made of nylon monofilaments is the best option for capturing bats and small birds. Its low visibility is advantageous in conditions where it is difficult to mask the net or where there is a lot of light (e.g., captures in supermarkets).

This product was introduced at the 14th International Bat Research Conference in Mérida, Mexico. M-14 mist nets were used for bat captures during the conference and received positive feedback from participants. They were also successfully presented at the EUROBATS meeting in 2008. Since then, monofilament nets have become very popular among bat researchers worldwide. To meet customer needs, nets with 20 × 20 mm mesh and also white nets have been produced.

Each net has a serial number (located on the metal part of one of the green loops). This number helps identify the net’s owner, for example, if it is used improperly. The serial number is also important for warranty claims. Keep the label with the serial number!

The high quality and efficiency of these ECOTONE ornithological nets is the result of more than 25 years of experience. These nets have been continuously tested under many often challenging conditions. They have been used in every latitude, from Arctic to tropical forests and deserts. ECOTONE nets are made from original high-quality nylon and polyester materials from Japan. The 2000-series nets are manufactured from high-quality Polish materials.

This net is not suitable for protecting agricultural crops (vineyards, etc.) or as pigeon deterrence. All bird species are legally protected. This net functions as a trap and may only be used for research purposes by professionally qualified individuals.
