Designed by ornithologists, this wooden nesting box is suitable for nesting birds such as jackdaws and smaller species of owls, including the tawny owl, the little owl, the scops owl, and the pygmy owl. In the past, jackdaws nested in old hollow trees in forests and groves, or in cliffs, but with the decline of their natural habitats, they have adapted to various types of buildings in modern times, including chimneys, bridges, castles, churches, ruins, industrial and agricultural structures. They have gradually disappeared from forests and now tend to seek the proximity of human settlements. Jackdaws live in permanent pairs.

As a natural material, wood creates natural conditions for jackdaw nesting.

The box does not have a protective coating, so it is recommended to paint it with a water-resistant acrylic paint for a longer lifespan.

Cleaning: The box can be cleaned by tilting the front panel secured with a hook.

Method of placement: It is suitable to hang the box for jackdaws or smaller owls on a sturdy tree at a height of at least 7 meters.
