Boxes for buildings
Are you insulating your home and worried about losing precious bats or birds that have nested in your house? Do you need to meet environmental agency requirements and use quality, tested solutions? We offer a diverse range of solutions that have been installed on hundreds of buildings in Slovakia and abroad. Birdhouses and bat boxes are divided into two categories in our e-shop: For birds and For bats. For each group of animals, we offer boxes made of certified hardened XPS polystyrene for insulation, concrete boxes with high durability, or wooden boxes. Polystyrene boxes are more suitable and easily workable for insulation systems that use polystyrene. When using mineral wool as an insulator, we recommend using concrete boxes, which are similar to mineral wool, non-flammable, and more resistant to potential damage by woodpeckers.
In cases where it is possible to preserve the original nesting cavities of birds or bat roosts (e.g. attic, kitchen vents), modified HACO VM 75 mesh screens are installed into the insulation. The modified mesh protects the insulation layer from rain and wear caused by animal movement, while preserving the original nesting sites.
