Designed by ornithologists, this wooden nesting box is suitable for a breeding pair of starlings or woodpeckers. Starlings can breed up to twice a year, from April to July. Their young are fed exclusively on insects, up to 300 times a day. They diligently gather everything that moves on the ground, and can even catch a bear, a pangolin, or snails. In August, when they gather in large flocks, adult birds and young alike can cause damage to small fruits. But what can you do? By then, there is less insects available and more hungry beaks. During nesting time, they also delight you with their interesting songs and mimicry of other bird species.
