Wood-concrete crevice roost for bats. Suitable for smaller species of our native bats: common pipistrelle, soprano pipistrelle, northern bat, whiskered bat… It has a bottom entrance, which means it requires no regular maintenance or cleaning, making it possible to install even in less accessible places, such as gable ends of houses. The inner surface allows bats to move freely inside the roost.

Installation: Can be mounted on buildings, walls, fences, bridges, garden houses, or sheds. Screws or wall plugs are required for installation. The type of fixing material must be chosen according to the surface where the roost is being mounted. The best orientation for bat houses is on the south, southeast, or southwest sides of buildings, where they are warmed by the sun for several hours. Bats like warmth. There must be free space in front of the entrance. If the roost is not occupied by bats within 2 years, it is recommended to relocate it.

Cleaning and inspection: Cleaning is not necessary, since the bottom entrance allows for self-cleaning.

Material: Breathable and durable wood-concrete – vapor-permeable, prevents water condensation, and provides excellent insulation against rapid temperature fluctuations. The material is very strong, ensuring high resistance to weather conditions and a long service life—several decades. The roost is made exclusively from ecological materials (wood-concrete, eco-friendly varnish).
