The 2000-series nets are thicker than the 1000-series nets, making them highly strong and durable. They are recommended for larger and heavier birds such as raptors, owls, and waterfowl. They are more visible, so it is suitable to place them in shaded areas. They are also suitable for night captures for recording purposes. The thicker net is safer for birds and easier to handle.
Each net has a serial number (located on the metal part of one of the green loops). This number helps identify the net’s owner, for example, if it is used improperly. The serial number is also important for warranty claims. Keep the label with the serial number!
