This is a 1000-series ornithological net. These nets are recommended for long-term research. The high-quality Japanese net remains black even after 500 days of fieldwork. The 1000-series nets are more resistant to weather conditions and are only slightly more visible than the 700-series nets. The thicker net is safer for birds and easier to handle.

Each net has a serial number (located on the metal part of one of the green loops). This number helps identify the net’s owner, for example, if it is used improperly. The serial number is also important for warranty claims. Keep the label with the serial number!

They have been used in every latitude, from Arctic to tropical forests and deserts. ECOTONE nets are made from original high-quality nylon and polyester material from Japan. This net is not suitable for protecting agricultural crops (vineyards, etc.) or as pigeon deterrence. All bird species are legally protected. This net functions as a trap and may only be used for research purposes by professionally qualified individuals.
