This nesting box is intended for a breeding pair of Eurasian kestrels, also known as the 'windhover'. This beautiful species of falcon is known to prefer nesting in urban areas on buildings and trees, and they also utilize industrial areas. In times of necessity, they will even nest on balconies in planters or on windowsills. They readily occupy a nesting box placed on the elevator shaft on the roof of an apartment building. To accelerate the nesting process, it is recommended to put a bit of gravel on the bottom of the nesting box.

Ideal placement for this nesting box is at a height of 10-20 meters, as kestrels prefer higher locations.

The entrance hole should be situated on the southeast side or in a protected direction against prevailing winds.

This nesting box is made of durable and extra-resistant wood-concrete with a long lifespan.
