A nest box for birds, designed by ornithologists, named BAT-MAN APUS4 XPS with four chambers for rain protection. It is made of extruded XPS polystyrene and is suitable for installation in the insulation layer or on the facade (after finishing the facade). The surface of the box needs to be treated and it should be mounted under a roof for protection, similar to other parts of the insulation system. Nesting cups are prepared in each chamber, which allows birds to save time and effort during nesting season. The box provides shelter for four pairs of dark swifts, sparrows, or tits. The entrance holes are reinforced, and the inside has a protective cement layer.
