This feeder is designed to attract squirrels to your garden and offer them a feeding spot. The original design was created in Slovakia and provides easy access to food for the squirrels directly from the tree trunk onto one of the two platforms. The openings on the sides attract their attention as they resemble the size of their favorite tree hollows, but they are covered with transparent plexiglass, and the squirrel needs to figure out that the roof can be lifted. For this energetic and clever animal, it's not a problem. The roof protects the food from other greedy animals such as mice or birds.

Thanks to the closing roof, the food inside is not accessible to birds, which usually eat everything on regular feeders for squirrels. The opening roof is designed to prevent it from staying open. The feeder can be filled with peeled or unpeeled hazelnuts, walnuts, sunflower seeds, or other food suitable for squirrels. The product comes with instructions on how and what to feed squirrels. This closing feeder for squirrels has a long lifespan, and the front transparent part shows the food level to both you and the squirrels.

The feeder should be placed on a tree where squirrels usually roam, ideally out of reach of dogs that could endanger them. A shaded location is suitable.
