It is designed for a breeding pair of the forest owl species. Although it is a typical forest owl, it also nests on the edges of settlements. Its diet mainly consists of rodents, making it useful for humans. In nature, it nests in large cavities in decaying trees, which are becoming increasingly rare in forests. The wooden box is designed to provide enough space for parents and offspring (a female owl can have up to 5 young). It is recommended to fill the bottom of the box with a little forest litter or coarse shavings. The holes at the bottom of the box allow for water drainage in case of heavy rainfall.

The box is made of natural wood material, which creates natural conditions for nesting. The box has a protective coating and an asphalt shingle for longer durability.

The shingle is removable and secured with two clips inserted into the openings on the sides of the box, making it easier for ornithologists to ring the young or for cleaning purposes.

When ordering a larger quantity of boxes than currently in stock, they will be produced within 1-2 weeks.

Placement: Owls require a height of at least 4 meters, and it is ideal to hang the box on a large tree. It is recommended to make the box less noticeable, as owls are sensitive to disturbances.

Cleaning: The nesting box does not need to be cleaned.
