Designed by an ornithologist, this birdhouse is made of wood and is perfect for a pair of swifts. You can place it on your windowsill. If your apartment building is already insulated and the Swifts have lost their nesting places, this is an ideal way to create a living space for them. Swifts are clean and do not make a mess under the birdhouse, so it does not require regular cleaning. Place it at a height of at least 6 meters from the ground, or at least on the 2nd floor of an apartment building. Swifts love heights, so the higher the birdhouse is located, the better. The birdhouse can also be used by blue tits, sparrows, yellow-tailed or great tits.

ATTENTION - Swifts cannot walk, so the front of the birdhouse must face the edge of the windowsill!

The optimal orientation is to the north or east, to avoid overheating. The birdhouse has a protective coating with water-soluble paint and a metal roof for longer life. The height-adjustable feet on the bottom are designed to adapt to the slope of the windowsill.

Cleaning: If necessary, the birdhouse can be cleaned after opening the roof.

Placement: on the windowsill, the birdhouse can be easily attached to the window frame or the windowsill board using the included mounting elements, or clipped without the need for anchoring into the window - according to the attached pictures.
