Bat boxes
Bats are a living biological shield above our settlements - all species feed on insects. Several species are dependent on shelters found in proximity to humans, in attics, in ventilation openings of apartment buildings, or in various crevices of buildings. Due to building renovations, they lose many of their shelters, so every shelter is valuable. If you already have them in your attic, basement, or behind the cladding, preserve their shelter and they will reward you with the capture of mosquitoes or pests of cultivated crops. Their unique flight in the evening will catch the eye of a sensitive observer.
