Bat box designed by experts. Suitable as a replacement for tree cavities in gardens, parks, and forests. Provides suitable shelter for dozens of bats that require tree cavities, which are unfortunately often missing in our forests. It has been tested over the years that bat boxes have attracted bats to many areas. Its shape resembles a woodpecker-made cavity - it is tall and cylindrical. It is suitable for forest species such as the brown long-eared bat, Bechstein's bat, and Natterer's bat. The front panel of the box has a silhouette of a hanging bat.
Installation: On a tree trunk or building. A nail or screw is required for hanging. It is suitable to use an aluminum nail that does not corrode on trees. It is not included in the delivery.
Cleaning and inspection: It is recommended to clean it once a year from bat guano. Cleaning and inspection are easy thanks to the removable front panel, which is secured with a safety hook.
Material: Breathable and durable wood-concrete. The material is very strong and provides high resistance to weather conditions and the long lifespan of the box, several decades.
